From this philosophy was born the idea of creating a path within the company to learn about olive oil from birth to maturity and to take a guided tour to learn the whole process.
The program develops different stages each piece inseparable for the reconstruction of the personality of the oil.
Preserving the ancient tradition of millers, the Mill Gargiulo continually renews the love for the land, not a land, but the land of the sirens. In particular, the love is concentrated to one of the fruits of the olive tree and around this passion has developed what has now become the philosophy of life and work, disclose as openly as possible and with a loud voice, the knowledge of olive oil and its use.
The stages of the guided tours at the Mill Gargiulo in Sorrento are:
Visit to the oil mill, the ancient of 1849, with millstones and presses in the metal to reproduce the ancient technique of processing olives.
Visit to the olive grove with a presentation of the areas intended for cultivation and harvest.
The third stage
Visit to the mill, modern look for the description of the processing modern, less charming but certainly more secure qualitatively
