Sorrento’s lemons have always been our most precious resource. A unique fruit, with many benefits and multiple uses. We have great respect for this fruit, its grown with passion and care on our lands as it has been for hundreds of years, along the terraces and under the pergolas, ensuring that we do not have to waste a single part of the fruit. Whole families get involved in the picking of the fruit, then the weighing for selling on, then in the transformation into the famous limoncello, marmalades and desserts. Frantoio Gargiulo always aims to keep the traditional methods alive and well in the Sorrentine Peninsula – “The land where the lemons grow” as Goethe noted.
