Description

Named Italy’s best white wine in 2015, Donnalaura is a marvellous version of Falanghina. Made from a later harvest, this wine carries intense notes of apricot & exotic fruits. Upon tasting you enjoy a pleasant acidity, which brings out the best in pasta dishes with fish or white meat dishes such as Rabbit “Ischitana”.
This splendid wine is produced in Benevento, in the area of Sannio. After the fermentation process takes place in steel tanks, it rests for 6 months in barrels where the wood gives this particular Falanghina a depth of character and boldness. They produce no more than 6000 bottles per year.
